Practical information for participants in the Haderslev MTB Challenge
Ride with the world elite to the 2022 XCM WC and Haderslev MTB Challenge.
The UCI XCM WC and Haderslev MTB Challenge will be held the same day – Saturday 17 September 2022.
The elite starts out on the route, and when they run out on the last lap, Haderslev MTB Challenge starts for the 40 and 80 km distance.
As a unique opportunity, we have been allowed to make an HMC Elite class for the fastest men and women who run the same distance and at the same time as the world elite. There will be cut off on exit to respectively 3rd and 2nd round. The schedule looks like this:
8.30 UCI World Championships elite men (120 km)
8:32 HMC Elite men (120 km, cut off at 3 hours and 30 minutes at the exit to the 3rd round)
8:50 UCI World Championships elite women (87 km)
8:52 HMC Elite women (87 km, cut off at 2 hours and 20 minutes at exit for 2nd round)
12:00 HMC exercise classes of 40 and 80 km – 1500 seats
Please note that it is only allowed to participate in MTB and E-MTB is not allowed.
We reserve the right to make changes.
The route
The route is 40 km long with singletrack, gravel road, fields, paths and some asphalt. You drive approx. 500 altitude meters per. round and can sign up for one, two or three rounds.

Changing room
There is the possibility of changing and subsequent bathing at Haderslev Idrætscenter, Stadionvej 5 – 6100 Haderslev
Other practical info
Participation is at your own risk. Purchase of starting place can not be canceled and participation fee is not refunded. In the event of major changes or cancellations due to covid-19, we will refund the registration fee. The exercise classes can change distance right up until the race.
It is possible to transfer your start number to another participant. You must register this on the registration page.
There are two depots on each round.
It is mandatory to ride with an approved bicycle helmet – no helmet equals no start!

Participation in the race and recommendation of bicycles is at your own risk.
You must be 15 years old on the day of the race to be able to register for the race.
