HADERSLEV FROM ITS BEST SIDE

There are plenty of opportunities for mountain biking throughout Haderslev Municipality.
Pamhule
Here you will find 12-14 km of single track, the basis for the 2022 World Championships track. The trail is graded blue all the way around, with options to add the more difficult red sections and reach the 14 km. The track is around 300 meters of altitude per lap.
The woods
If you don’t like single track, you can, for example, take the Geheimerådens path to Dyrehaven, Pamhule Skov and around Hindemade Sø. There is a great chance that you will meat a deer, and you can take a break near Sofies Kilde where the water springs from the ground. The route is also popular for walkers and families on tour, so please be considerate and slow down when passing them.
On the road
Take a trip on Haderslev Næs, around Slivsøen or a trip over Diernæs and Vikær. From here you can continue to Sønderballe, where you can enjoy the view of Genner Strand and Kalvø with a short walk along the Kalvøstien path. The nature in the area i beautiful. Afterwards you can take Hærvejen (the Ancient Road) back to Haderslev.
Stensbæk Plantation
In Stensbæk Plantage near Gram there is a relatively flat track, but the terrain with roots and technical passages makes it easy to get your heart rate up on the 7 km. The nature in Stensbæk Plantage is an experience in itself, with natural phenomena such as inland cliffs and crags and heathland. It is worth a visit.
